Utilize the power of Facebook and MySpace. Once dominated by college kids and tweens, these social networks have become marketing and networking gold mines. Use these social networks to keep in touch with customers or attract a new market. Be sure to upload photos, videos, commercials etc to make your profile worthwhile to visitors.

Both social networking platforms allow you to create profiles, but Facebook has been more strict not allowing commercial interests or “non people” to create traditional profiles. You can sign up for a business profile here on Facebook.

Super Tip: Tie in your offline and online marketing. Invite all visitors to your store, direct mail pieces, and or packaging to visit your Facebook or MySpace page as well as your website.
